Gabion Mesh-Flexible, Durable and Versatile

Gabion mesh are made of high quality steel wire, which has 2 types of fabrication: double or triple twist fabric. The fabric structures are flexible and variable. Compared with welded gabion mesh, woven gabion baskets have durability for a long service life.

Gabion mesh can be widely used for erosion protection, roadway and bridge protection, gravity retaining wall, slope paving and riverbank controlling.

Material: High quality steel wire.
Surface treatment
- Heavy galvanization.
- Zinc coating plus PVC coating.
- 95% Zinc ＋ 5% Al alloy coating.
- 95% Zinc ＋ 5% Al alloy coating plus PVC coating.
Gabion height type: Gabion box and gabion mattress.
Mesh opening: 80 mm × 100 mm.
Available minimal rock size: 100 mm – 250 mm dense and durable stone.
Length: Maximum 6 m.
Width: Maximum 3 m.
Height: 0.17 m, 0.21 m, 0.3 m, 0.5 m, 1 m, 1.5 m, etc.
Wire diameter
- Mesh wire diameter: 2.0 mm – 4.0 mm.
- Selvedge wire diameter: 3.0 mm – 4.4 mm.
- Lacing wire: 2.2 mm.
Standard: ASTM A975-11 Standard Specification for Double–Twisted Hexagonal Mesh Gabions and Revet Mattresses.
